The flash is used to light up the image when you touch the flashlight icon on screen. It is only on when you want it on. With that said, continued use of the flash may dramatically decrease battery life.

Over 40 app good for

I got the idea about a magnifier app from the TV show "Castle." I did a search in the app store and came up with this one. Super!! I recommend it highly!

This app is perfect when you forget your reading glasses. I always have my phone with me so....it will be great to help me read labels etc. while out shopping or reading the menu in restaurants.

I like it. Can come in handy when u need it. Keep up the good work.

I hate going into a restaurant and not being able to read the menu especially when its dark. This app to solve my problem. its the best of its kind.

This is a good example of a simple app designed to do one very specific thing and it does it very well. It often comes in very handy for reading serial numbers, etc.

This is a very useful app. I am ashamed to say, that I use it too much.

Some bad moments

This app has way to much going on on the screen. The banner completely distracts you and all I want to see it what I am looking at - then I want to get rid of the mess I get asked to buy it for 1.99! App doesnt work that well either. Stay away.

Didnt get the lite with app as promised so I deleted this one. Contacted app support & am waiting for a refund or an app as described.

I specifically dont download free stuff because I hate the ads. With this app you not only pay - but have to pay again to stop the ads. I really dont care how good or bad the app is. I found this very dishonest and wish I would have read the reviews first. I never would have bought it had I known this.

The title says magnifier and light and thats what I paid for. Where is the light???????? Is this legal??

Beware. If youre assuming because you pay the app will be ad free you are wrong. You pay THEN pay again to remove the ads. Its scams like this that dont identify that fact that will eventually force Apple to offer a 3 day money back guarantee.

Very poor optics. Basically uses camera features to magnify and illuminate. Can use your camera for the same functions.
